After a night spent in the relative luxury of the Sheraton Resort we caught the morning ferry out to the Yasawa Islands. Our first stop was Nacula Island and the white sands and crystal clear waters of the Blue Lagoon Resort. We spent three days here snorkelling, swimming and I tried my hand at fishing for the very first time with some local Fijians.

We then moved on to Nanuya Balavu Island and the Mantaray Island Resort, which was nowhere near as nice as Blue Lagoon but still very picturesque. Our final stop was the Bounty Island Resort, an island so small it took just twenty minutes to walk around.
Following a relaxing week doing very little we left the islands and a short ferry ride later arrived back on the mainland to catch our flight to Melbourne.

Take care, speak to you soon
